The Online Component of the Summit

We have reached the maximum number of participants the National Summit venue can accommodate. 

The online option is still available and people not attending in person should be encouraged to participate in that way. When you return from the Summit and wish to discuss the issues raised with your colleagues, and networks, it would be helpful if some of them have had the benefit of participating on line in all or part of the Summit. You could, for example, register your office and then various people could log in at different times depending on their interest in particular sessions. You could also make this professional development opportunity available to your board members or other volunteers. This would be an inexpensive way to broaden the opportunity to participate.

Summit Accommodation 

Both the Delta City Centre (where the Summit is being held) and the Ottawa Delta are fully booked for Monday the 28th and Tuesday the 29th. If you have not booked your accommodation yet, please check the Summit website for the names of other hotels. They are all within two blocks of the Summit Hotel.

Hot Topic Tables 

Would you like to check in with people from your subsector, with those from your community or region, or with fellow Leafs fans or Habs fans. Do you have an issue that you would like to get input on or some ideas to share with others? Then the Hot Topic Tables are for you!! On Wednesday morning, from 7:30 – 8:30 over breakfast, space will be provided for such gatherings. There will be signs indicating the topic on designated tables when you arrive Wednesday morning and whomever wishes to, may join that table. There will also be space for those with no issues on their mind that morning. If you have a Hot Topic and would be willing to host a table, let Brenda Cameron Couch know bcameroncouch@imaginecanada.ca.

Resource Table 

If you have resources or information about them that you think would be of interest to other participants, please bring them along. We will have a table where this information will be available. This is one more way that we can share with and learn from each other during the Summit .
